Pathway to Purely His is a workbook that is used in a support group setting with a purpose to go all in with Jesus and get unstuck from anything that is holding you back from being all that God has called you to be. People in the group interact and share details of their life…a lot of healing takes place using this group curriculum.[/vc_toggle][vc_empty_space][vc_toggle title=”Is Pathway to Purely His a recovery group? ” style=”text_only” size=”sm” el_id=”1466409091591-468ec8ec-870d”]These groups are designed to be diverse in nature, all ages and backgrounds. The word “recovery” in our society implies addiction and although this curriculum does help with that issue, it is not limited to it. You could classify it as a recovery group, but it would exclude those that aren’t struggling with addiction, because it would be in that “recovery” box. It is better classified as a discipleship, mentoring or support group. We especially suggest that leaders go through this group because if the leadership is unhealthy, then the people they lead also become unhealthy. The goal of these groups is to go all in with Jesus and get unstuck from anything in the way of that and everyone is stuck in some way or another.

We have found that having people meet in a Purely His Group with others that have different backgrounds actually speeds the healing process…because they will learn that they aren’t that different after all and they are headed the same direction which is to go all in with Jesus.[/vc_toggle][/vc_column][vc_column width=”2/12″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”2/12″][/vc_column][vc_column width=”8/12″][mrbara_heading style=”5″ font_size=”20px” line_height=”1″ letter_spacing=”2px” font_style=”600″ css=”.vc_custom_1512673453275{padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”]GROUPS[/mrbara_heading][vc_empty_space][vc_toggle title=”How long is a Purely His group? ” style=”text_only” size=”sm” open=”true” el_id=”item1″]The curriculum has twenty one lessons which is five months long if you’re meeting once a week. However, you can choose to meet as often as you like and shorten the timeline. The things discussed in this group are deep issues that take time to talk through and work through, plus it takes time for the group to bond, so taking your time is advised. We suggest meeting for two or two in a half hours each time.[/vc_toggle][vc_empty_space][vc_toggle title=”What is the typical group size? ” style=”text_only” size=”sm” el_id=”1466409091591-468ec8ec-870d”]A perfect sized group consists of two leaders and eight members in the group separated by gender because so many of the past issues that need to be discussed are sexual in nature and that gets pretty uncomfortable in mixed company. However, you can also use the curriculum to mentor one on one if you desire, but the language is geared towards a group.[/vc_toggle][vc_empty_space][vc_toggle title=”Should family members be in the same group? ” style=”text_only” size=”sm”]That’s up to you as the leader, but a lot of people’s issues stem from family and it makes it difficult to open up in front of them for fear that feelings may get hurt or offense may happen.[/vc_toggle][vc_empty_space][vc_toggle title=”How is Purely His group different than other groups? ” style=”text_only” size=”sm”]Our groups are very effective in raising up healthy and enthusiastic workers for the Lord. People are stuck and they need to get unstuck so that they can live out the calling that God has on their lives and they need to be productive members of the local church and society. Purely His helps people get unstuck from the things holding them back, gets them connected to a community of believers and the local church and gives them the tools needed to mentor others once they have healed. We don’t teach people to manage their symptoms, we teach them how to heal from the root cause, by locating it and then ripping it out so the symptoms will go away. We use Biblical principles do accomplish this such as repentance, surrender, confession and forgiveness. Our curriculum doesn’t just say “forgive that person” and let them figure it out alone. Instead, we disciple them through it by saying “you need to forgive that person, let me show you how…let’s do it right now, together.”[/vc_toggle][/vc_column][vc_column width=”2/12″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”2/12″][/vc_column][vc_column width=”8/12″][mrbara_heading style=”5″ font_size=”20px” line_height=”1″ letter_spacing=”2px” font_style=”600″ css=”.vc_custom_1512673633016{padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”]OTHER[/mrbara_heading][vc_empty_space][vc_toggle title=”What does “Get Unstuck” mean? ” style=”text_only” size=”sm” open=”true” el_id=”item1″]Well it implies that someone is stuck…then we need to get them unstuck. It is getting someone free from something that is holding them back from being all that God has called them to be.

People have all kinds of symptoms/issues like:

  • Addictions
  • Bitterness
  • Self-harm
  • Marital problems
  • Depression
  • Anxiety

But these issues are not THE ISSUE—they are the symptoms of a deeper issue, an unresolved issue. Most people spend their time working on the symptoms, but we believe we should be spending that precious time healing from what caused (root) the symptom/issue.

  • Abandonment
  • Molestation
  • Rape
  • Divorce
  • Abortion
  • Bullying
  • Abuse
  • Adoption
  • Unanswered Prayer
  • Infidelity
  • Human Trafficking
  • Spiritual Abuse
